A place with history

Pajaibal is an island located in Lake Atitlan Guatemala and is located at an altitude of 1,572 meters above sea level, for which the coffee produced in its basin surrounded by three volcanoes is one of the most famous in the world.

Pajaibal was the epicenter of Mayan activity in the Pre Classic Mayan era (600 years before Christ to 200 after Christ). It is located very close to Semetabaj, a place known as the Mayan Atlantis.

Pajaibal is very close to Chicacao, a place where to this day one of the best cocoas in the world is cultivated. A product that, like corn and  chili, the Mayan Civilization gave to the world and whose origins are found in Guatemala.

Atitlan is considered the most beautiful lake in the world, as described by the famous writer Aldous Huxley.

For us, Lake Atitlan has a very important place in our hearts, because when we were  children we toured its milpa and coffee plantations, swam in its pristine waters and learned about the beauty of the place and its culture.

Hence, the  mythical Pajaibal  became our kingdom of happiness and superior gastronomy.
